World Championships

In November 2009 i competed in the world age group competition in St Petersburg, Russia. The couple of days training before we competed i had quite a bad foot injury. This put me off competing as my Physio told me i might of not been able to compete. I tried my hardest to forgot about the pain and i worked through it. Luckily i was able to compete.
The day of the prelims i was very nervous. I just thought to myself that i can do this so i did. I landed on my feet on both runs to qualify for finals in 5Th place. When i found out i made the finals i was over the moon because i reached my goal.
A couple of hours later it was time to do our final runs. I was so nervous to see all of my competitors do really well. It was time to do my run. I did it and I landed on my feet. I was so happy. Then our coach came up and told me and my friend we stayed in the same position. 5Th place is a very good place for me as my goal was to come in the top 8.
